Town Center Pavilion The Gateway To The Beach, Florida

Town Center Pavilion When Night
This is a pavilion with classical architectural design and built to serve the community and are intended as a gateway to the beach from downtown and the icon for the city. It is set on a cliff 20 ‘above the beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The tower was designed to mark the point along the coast and to provide full accessibility by monumental stairs and ramp switchback. He has a unique quality of space that changes the expression of elemental and a monumental scale. From a distance, one reading the monolithic form. As one enters the tower, the melting solidity and replaced with a feeling of light and shade. At night, making the internal lighting tower transparent skin, causing a radical transition in the formal dynamic as the day turned into night and night. This is a collection of  David Coleman Architecture.
